Title:

Lizards
|
Artist: |
Dr Arthur Fleischmann
|
Description: |
This sculpture was carved from a solid block of clear Perspex by hand with mallet and chisel by Arthur Fleischmann. He made it for his own pleasure. The two lizards are carved on opposite sides of the block, and their tails intertwine through a hole carved right through the block.
Fleischmann used this playful technique of carving figures interacting through holes in the block quite often.
