This work of art depicts Fleischmann's two Balinese models Runding and Rmpang. Fleischmann did many sculptures of these two Balinese girls in various poses during his time in Bali in 1937-38. He modelled this sculpture in clay and it was fired in a straw kiln in Bali. He hand-carried the terracotta to Australia when he left Bali, and brought it with him to London in 1948. This bronze cast was made in London under Fleischmann's supervision in the 1970s.
