These sculptures form part of the tomb of Eliza Roy, Countess de Lariboisière (see main entry on the tomb). The bust in the centre of this crowning feature is a portrait of the Countess. She is flanked by two putti in bronze. The one on the right draws the attentioon of the spectator to the image of the deceased benefactress, whilst that on the left point heavenward to where the Countess is receiving her eternal reward.
