Artist: |
Baron Carlo Marochetti
For general account of the statue, see entry on the Ferdinand Duke of Orleans Monument. This relief represents The French Army Going Through the Pass at Mouzaïa. Whereas the statue of the Duke was cast by the founder Soyer, Marochetti had a disagreement with him over the casting of the reliefs and used another firm, Eck and Durand to cast these. |
