Sculptor and manufacturer of terracotta. He worked for twenty years as a master carver on major monuments such as Wells Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, and then, in 1985, established his terracotta firm, ThomasonCudworth near Ilminster in Somerset. The firm has restored and produced replicas of garden statuary for country houses, but also original works, such as a Whale and Mermaid Fountain for a private patron in Hampshire.
