Ben Joiner

1952 -

Sculptor and teacher. He studied at Chelsea School of Art (1977-81), graduating with a masters degree. He exhibited in the New Contemporaries show at the ICA in 1980, and in 1983 won a Greater London Arts Award. In the 1980s he was working in a studio in Tower Hamlets, and since that time has taught at the Harrow School of Art. In 1990 he received commissions for Brent Magistrates Court and for Leamington Spa. Works by him are held in the collections of the Arts Council and the Contemporary Art Society.
